Hey boys (and girls?)
Since I'm relatively new the the community (kinda, got the deuce in October so haven't had a whole lotta seat time), I'm pretty stocked about the great weather. Wondering if everyone has their 2's back out on the road. If so, we should try to get a meet and cruise going on one day, maybe Easter weekend? Something separate form the UC meet. An all MR2 meet would be pretty dope.
Ideas, suggestions? |

We tried it a couple times last summer (I was in the same boat you are now) with limited success. I suppose we'd have more if we gave people plenty of notice. Shall we plan 2? One for pretty soon and another for a month or so down the road?
I'm out for the long weekend friday, but that doesn't mean the rest of you can't do it then.
I propose April 25 for the farther-away one. |

Hah. Mine's never gone away. Although mine is an old junker waiting to be scrapped. Also a first gen.
I am down for any MR2 meet. Would be nice to get everyone together. Last summer I think we might have got around 3 or 4 to meet at Hawrelak Park prior to an UC meet. That was pretty cool. |

| I'll be there for an mr2 meet! lol someone knowledgable about 3rd gen conversions please come look at my car before then, and give me some advice and basic information. My cars still confusing to me. Especially since i hooked up my SBC, and dont know which turbo i have...ct26, or ct20 |

Ok then. I'll start throwing ouf some suggestions.
How bout April 25th, maybe around 5 at Hawrlak so we can do some pics before the sun goes down followed by maybe a cruise and then see where it goes from there?
We could see how this one goes and maybe do an end of summer one as well.... |

I'm 90% out now... I didn't realize the classroom portion of the Autox school was the day before, so I had to trade working Thursday night for Friday night... Unless by some fluke things get dead all of a sudden. (At a shop that makes gaskets for the oilfield during shutdown? - Yeah right!)
You never know though, I might be able to talk my boss into letting me go at 6 or 7 if I come in early... |

hopfully my transmission dosint blow compltley before then
yes i have a fucked transmission (c52) and i am in need of finding a replacment.
that grinding nosie isnt from me not shifting properlly but from a fucked transmission
owell this wont stop me from going out.
btw where are we planing to meet up at? |

On the upside, I was in for 4 hours on my day off today and I'll be in for another 10 or 12 over the weekend now that the driving portion of the autox school has been postponed, so it looks pretty good, though I still won't be there until 7 at the earliest. |
