... :)
does this mean I have a leaking CV boot?

here is the paint I am planning to use on calipers, and rotor hats.
front passenger caliper, NOTE: KVR front brake pads part number.
front passenger side strut and spring, and GR2 getting to know each other.

removed passenger side axle.
special axle disassembler tool.
axle a part, and wheel bearing side is soaking in varsol for cleaning.
and driver side stuff...

cleaning time to come...

I hope everyone enjoyed that... I've got more pictures of other various stuff... just not uploaded to anything.

I hope everything works out.

What do you guys make of this here?

Quite the project you got going on Marlowe, looks good :)

I'd take care of the rust under hood before it becomes problematic...

I just got rid of my KVR Carbon Fibre pads. I ran them on my Z and found that they made LOTS of dust, and didn't really stop better than stock, not noticeably anyway.

I just put new Hawk HPS pads in (F&R), which are supposed to be much better. Guess I'll find out - I don't have much driving time on these yet.

However, don't judge the KVR's soley on my review. The stock Z32 brake setup sucks regardless. I've got fluid, SS lines & pads upgraded. But until I get BIGGER brakes, I'm probably not going to experience a "wow, awesome brakes" phenomena just from changing pads anyway.

Ironically my '01 Sentra SE (daily driver) has phenomenal brakes (totally stock)! I couldn't believe how great they are. Kudos to Nissan!
** Disclaimer: This applies only to the SE and up though. I've driven the XE and GXE and they sucked by comparison.

Thanks Andy. I sure hope I can put it all together.

oh about that hood... it is problematic already...
I'm thinking of CF... but I don't know...
getting a new OEM hood, painting, and blending... it costs a little more then trying my luck with a CF hood...

Yeah, I'm going into uncharted waters here... no one on the g20.net has really said anything about the KVR's...
my g/f has them on her integra as well...
they cost about a $150(total) less then going all around with OEM... so I figured I'd try my luck.

I really like the brakes on the G as well. They are good.
 for the forgotten sr20 sedan heros!

Carbon fiber hood should be good.

WTF is up with your hood!?! Your car can't be that old, fawking Nissan.

Yeah... it's a 1999...

only one shop has step-up and gave me a price for a CF hood. (Calgary shop)

i'm still going to wait it out though...

hopefully some good results from the other people i've tried to contact...

this car will still be sitting like this for a good month and a half I figure...

so I'm in no hurry... (although waiting sucks...) ;)
