So I had a bit of time this weekend and earlier today to get some things done:

Great news, the sunroof is 100% functional again! Took the entire assembly apart, cleaned/greased it, put it back together, reset motor and adjusted the tolerances. Turns out the guides were alright, just off track a little bit.

I also replaced the A/C belt as promised with a brand new Dayco belt. Checked tensioner and pulleys, everything looks good.

Also the radiator cowling has an intake duct that was cracking a bit so i took the time to fix that up as well.

And finally, the headlamp washer leak has been temopoarily fixed. Its barely leaking now but i am in the process of looking for a replacement washer jet.

All in all, a productive weekend!

2 sets of wheels included, winters and summers!

Weather's getting nicer so i'm hoping to get some pics up with the summer tires soon.

So i sent this out in a couple PM's this morning and i figured i should post it for all to see:

-------------------------------------------
One last note, the mileage on the car is not actually 215,000kms. The gauge cluster was dead when i got the car and i was told it had approx 135,000kms on it at the time. I replaced the cluster at the beginning of february and it read 213,130kms at the time. Carfax shows the kms reported to be 107,996kms as of May 13, 2005. There's no way that 118,000kms has been put on the car in less than 3 years, therefore the accurate current mileage should be approx 140,000kms. Unfortunately other than carfax, i have no way to prove it 100%.
-------------------------------------------

I have always thought the mileage on the new cluster was wrong but was not able to verify this until one of the members on here very kindly ran a carfax for me. I obviously still have the carfax report and can show it to anyone who is interested.

Just to clarify, i'm not looking for an E46 right away but rather, in the next little while. I've had a number of people offer me a trade up to their E46 and unfortunately, as much as i would like one i'm not in the financial position to own one at the moment.
