What's your style? - Click HERE for Original Thread

What's your style? Do you have a certain type or brand that you tend to buy? Do you follow trends and drop $65 on the latest Affliction T-shirt? $400 on the latest pre-shredded jeans?

Personally I tend to buy a lot of my clothes at Winners. I go after some of the more surf-culture brands. Quiksilver, O'Neill, Hurley, etc. They make clothes that can handle my active lifestyle without falling apart. Not too over priced either. I would say I average about $16-$20 for a t-shirt, $25 for a nicer dress shirt and about $30-$40 for jeans.

lol I too rock the surfer/skate brands, but its more so because I'm cheap than anything else. On weekends I look like a hillbilly in sweatpants and some worn out t-shirt which probably came in a case of beer. I wear a lot of Quiksilver, O'neal, Billabong, Buffalo, American Eagle ect, ect. I hit up winners a lot just because it is so cheap but every once in a blue moon I pick up a $40 shirt or something.

I spend more on a set of tires than the cost of my entire wardrobe, so im not too fashionable... I cant justify spending too much money on clothing right now when I tend to grow in spurts, I have put on 10lbs in a month and none of my shirts fitted anymore.

I have friends who drop $200 on shirts and $500 on jeans, and go shopping at high end stores every couple of weeks... I guess I could if I felt it was important but I would much rather look like raggity-anne and drive a nice car than be "in style" but drive a rusted out cavalier. Although Jeans are something worth spending a bit of money on. High quality denim fits and feels great and will last a long time.

I definitely will be buying a bunch of the Import Bible shirts when the new collection is released. Their shirts are pretty awesome and its nice to support someone local.

I wear black wranglers, and black cargos for pants and T-shirts.. other than the couple t-shirts I bought in florida last year and the shirt the University gave me for going to the conference in florida I haven't paid for a shirt in years... I always wear the geekwear they hand out at Fragapalooza in the summer.

Never cared much about "style" I was wearing Farmer blue orange tabs when red tabs were the in thing.

Also my life style doesn't fit nice clothes.. I'm always ending up under a desk looking at a computer or under a vehicle... if I had nice clothes I might thing twice about it... the day i wear a suit or something nice to work is the day they'll think I'm quitting(have an interview somewhere) I went to the interview at teh university where I work in a T-shirt, jeans and an HP jacket I got when I worked at Convergys :p

I'm a t-shirt and jeans guy. Although it seems as though most of the jeans that fit me properly are expensive. I'm not a big fan of pre-shredded or pre-stained jeans, the weird styles aren't my thing, but I've got more than a few pairs of Diesel's, True Religions, etc, in my closet, and they're all $300 - $400 each. I've never been into popped collars and all that other crap.

I do the exact same thing. But I also have some other shirts people give me, and sometimes I buy, but rarely. If I do buy, they usually have something to do with computers or gaming groups :p

RacerGirl
i am ajeans and tank top or tee kind of girl. A lot of my pants are A&F or roxy; simply because they fit me the best. my shirts range anywhere from old navy to lacoste to a hockey jersey. I live in zip ups though, and those are usually JL, Puma, etc.
The only thing i tend to spend a lot on is accessories. I like higher end handbags and shoes. It's the girly girl in me. lol.

Flex
Im a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy to...always have been. I buy the odd designer t-shirt but most dont fit my body type. Im short and mucular and the t-shirts are always to tight. Same with designer jeans, my legs are to big for most of them so I cant wear them. I usually wear euro fit Levis as they fit me body type the best.

AudiInProgress
I buy t-shirts that are $10 and jeans that are $30, and I think anyone who spends more than that is retarded.

Flex
where the heck do you even find $30 jeans

International Clothiers in WEM. The only place in Edmonton which carries jeans that fit me.

They usually have like 2/$50 special... Which is $25/pair and then taxes...

Works out to about $30 for a pair of jeans.

I wear 40x38 so... Kind of hard size to find.

arabian_ryda

Lol. Me too. Im not into fashion. I hate shopping for clothes. Before we started dating I would buy about 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants a year. About 2 months ago she updated my whole wardrob which was probably 10yrs old. lol

GOT BOOST
I just go in the nude.

I never have to worry about running into someone else with the same outfit!

i just wear walmart shirts and sears pants. 90% of the clothes i wear are used for work anyways. the stuff that i dont wear to work i get from anywhere, but i would have a hard time even paying $60 for a shirt. i usually buy those novelty shirts that have something stupid printed on them

i used to wear that size, and i found that its pretty easy to find them almost anywhere like sears or zellers.

i agree with you for the most part, but sometimes its nice to have nicer clothing. i just find that in the end, if someone spills something on you, id rather it be on a $10 shirt then something more expensive

For work I tend to try to dress nicer, a pair of dress pants or khakis and a collar shirt. Outside work I usually do up the jeans/hoodie/tshirt.

I buy my plain t-shirts at Michael's. Occasionally they have sales on for like 2-3$ a shirt. Decent quality plain t-shirts in a variety of colors - great for the gym.
