Try finishing it in record time. The record for first period at NAIT is 8 school days start to finish. It took me 10 days. And no, I couldn't have just challenged because I didn't know anything going in. |

Almost done 1st year or Computer Engineering Tech... There are for sure some nice cars around NAIT, if you see mine (silver '93 lude), it's usually parked in awkward, semi-illegal locations. April 23 and then I'm free!
4thGenLude, is it you who drives the red 5th gen? Do you still drive a lude? I also see a couple white ones, both 4th gens. |

So, yesterday was my second day back in class, and I come out to my car (which was parked in L, on the west-most edge of the lot), and some idiot decided to rip my Honda emblems off... I don't understand. My car isn't that nice... and the emblems were black replacements off ebay (not trying to look rice, just cheaper than buying OEM). Why would somebody do this is beyond me. Needless to say, I was pretty mad. |

I parked right beside the HP center for a full semester. Without paying for parking.
The combined tickets over the year came to a total of $350.00. Cheaper than paying to legally park somewhere else. |

| I paid $360 to park in L, behind the annex. They upped the pay-parking fee to $5/day this year... I don't know how people afford that. I paid my fair share of tickets last year... I found the best place to park, if you don't mind the walk, is in the residential behind the 118th ave traffic circle. Got a bit chilly in the winter, but it was free :dunno: |

Many students have been towed from Kingsway - they have a very hi-tech video surveillance system I am told. Everyone has a different "trick" on how to avoid them when walking through the mall such as carrying retail bags, buying a newspaper (so you have a receipt), etc.... |

suckahs! I go to a private school, don't have to pay parking or deal with the craziness that is nait... hahah...
no really, the parking is just stupid at nait. I used to work at kingsway, and at xmas they said any employees would be towed if they parked there... I told them to fuck it, because I had to be there at 5am for restocking, and never got towed once, worked 17days straight during rush hour, and if they ever said anything, claimed i was shopping. Basically just walk through the mall, carry some retail bags and buy something in there like someone said, newspaper, soda, etc, ... just change your spot every day. the security there didn't seem to really care too much.. I used to park infront of their office during xmas, and nothing... but perhaps it is different for the nait kids. hmmm maybe just get a part time job at the mall, and if you get nailed, just say you were at work... infact, that way you even make money during the year for parking there :p |

starting jan. computer engineering tech. HP building... there is free parking for the annex ppl or the spartan/hp guys... if u can get there super early... right between annex and spartan... fills up fast... only a select few spots...
i drive my best friend to school so i usually see parking once and awhile...
5 bucks a day full parking is retarded... i paid 3 all day at the V wing last year.... |

and ya the no parking signs are placed around the hydrants and cross walks... there is atleast 20+ cars on the street... just got back from there found the best parking spot ever... i guess no one wants to park there cause they either own a huge truck which i see lots huge suv or huge car... i love my MR2 small and nimble fits perfectly with atleast a foot and a half in front and back... hahahah |

Hah, exactly what I did for two semesters, park every day in the 2 hour parking. I was taking network engineering. I did get a few tickets, but like you said, it's definitely cheaper because they're lazy bastards to check every day. |
