Need some Restrictor Pills from precontrol turbo boost lines on stock FDs - Click HERE for Original Thread

CamroseFC
yeah i need a restrictor pill/jet/pellet from the turbo precontrol actuator line on the stock FD turbo system. Theres a few guys on here with the stock turbos torn apart or off the car so I thought I'd ask. They are about a 2 dollar part from the Mazda dealer, but dealing with some of these parts guys is a challenge as most don't seem to know how to even use the software to find the shit.

CamroseFC
here is the diagram to illustrate what I'm looking for:
it's labelled "pre-control pill" at the far right, bottom actuator.

and from a different angle, extreme bottom left, and labelled again...

now
where are you needing these for?
you could always make one

respost.

CamroseFC
it's needed to limit the flow of oil to the turbo I have, which requires it.

ps... if anyone knows the part no. for the piece, I'd appreciate knowing it. I can't find it.
thanks.

I don't know about the pill, but the part number for those specific hoses are N3A1-13-ZLY.

If I remember I'll take a look tomorrow when I'm by my car to see if I can find the one I'm not using. Hopefully I didn't throw it out when I was cleaning up the other day.

CamroseFC
awesome Connor, thx.

edit:
I'd prefer the one from the hose that is longer, from the pre-control actuator. its orifice is slightly smaller than the pill in the wastegate line.

now
why not just use a jet out of a carb?
you can get them from very small di hole to very large
they are made of brass and are very little money.
like the ones used in snowmobiles

CamroseFC
yeah the Holley ones come in the proper size hole, I'm looking at Mopac tomorrow... good idea.

Mobius
Good thing, I don't have the hoses/pills anyways.

no prob thanks for looking- I found the correct diameter using the Holley jet... I'm hoping I'll be able to insert it in the oil feed line and crimp it in there without issues.
