well it felt like about 180 hp to me, it brought back memories of
driving my 86 gxl n/a, power wise that is, other than that i would love
to have a rx8 just not for the performance, i ran it up to about 7500
a couple times in 2nd gear and i am sure that if you really revved the piss
out of the thing it might go better. I liked the feel of the car and like
other rotary powered cars if felt great!
All i can say, i hope the car sells like hot cakes for a few years so
that mazda comes out with a new rx7, and to continue my dream
of a new rx7,,, one with a 3rotor renesis motor!!!!!!!!!!!!!
back from dream land to reality, i am almost sure that a 3 rotor in the future
will never happen, the economy issues will make sure of that:(
best we can hope for is a renesis 13b supercharged model which i am
almost 100% sure is in the works.

| RX-8's rotary engines tend to be lighter with fewer moving parts, but they tend to put out the power and torque at higher RPM's. |
