Well this month Modified Mag and DSport Man had separate tests done with Pulstar Pulse plugs and they each claim the torque and hp rose over most of the power band.
What do you think? Are you going to go buy some and test them out?

Sounds like a plan. I'll do that along with my fully electric Turbo and headlight booster.
However, if I can get a few runs on a dyno, before and after, I'll do this.. for the purpose of proving or disproving what they claim. |

2 plugs per cylinder?
Anyways spark is a spark is a spark. Its BS, its like the people who convert to COP setup. In theory a COP setup will give a stronger spark, discharges faster ect but in the real world there is no performance gains. The only reason to COP is clean up your engine bay and look baller, spark doesn't gain power. Use whatever plug it asks for in your owner manual and make sure it is gapped properly. If you are boosting the hell out of your car run a slightly colder plug but that the only exception. |

| yup two plugs per... the primary plugs have the coils right over them then a wire to the sister plug on the other side that fires at the same time. |

| Sounds like they have integrated a capacitor in the spark plug for unknown reasons. |

| Lightspeed in red deer is doing some tests on these with their dyno and customer cars. If they actually get some conclusive before/after results I'll link them here. |

| All you need to see are the 0-60 numbers. Grand Marquis 0-60 in 5.0, absolute bullshit. The car would need at least 500hp to do that. |

I'm gonna say they do their job as Modified is probably one of the most reputable tuner mags out there.
and for the record. a spark isnt a spark isnt a spark. |

| I am not going to be standing on my soap box saying this works. We started with our first test last week and I was very surprised. I will be happy to let everyone know our results when I am done. |

It seems to be impossible to get any real info on this. This was the best forum response I could find from someone that actually did dyno runs:

As a side, you would think having an internal capacitor would delay the spark slightly.

| Modified Magazine did a base dyno pull and another one with the plugs on and they also saw huge gains. Somehting like 15 WHP. It's in the latest issue. |

| I have emailed pulstar and besides horsepower gains the person I was email said he notived a 2mpg increase in fuel economy in his 95 suburban. Whether he is lying or not i dont know but it sounds pretty promising. I believe I am going to order some for my truck as they do not make a plug for a rotary engine. |

If it can save up to 2mpg in a suburban and give a bit more hp, it sounds pretty good.
Im thinking about picking up some for my own car.
Edit; So after reading that thread that was posted up, too good to be true strikes again. :smack: |

Green Car Congress Bnet's article
It seems people are claiming about 2-3% fuel efficiency increase and for the power people arent saying if theyre advancing the timing or anything like that.
how long do you think these plugs will last in comparison to regular ones? maybe thats what will make or break these plugs. |
