Does DSM really cover all those lines of cars? I've only really associated the acronym DSM with Talons, Lasers and Eclipses...........

SplineZ
to my knowledge all those companies share parts amung their car lines. Mainly drive/valve train.

DSM = Diamond Star Motor(s)(sports)
It covers the Lasers, Talons and Eclipses as well as anything running a Mitsu engine the name comes from the Mitsu symbol which is 3 diamonds that make a star (crazy huh)

Partially right, in purist circles only the Talons, Eclipses and Lasers as well as the Galants are generally acknowledged as DSM's

DSM= Diamond Star Motors, a joint venture between Mitsu and Chrylser. Mitsu=Diamonds, Chrylser = Pentastar.

Diamond-Star. :bigthumbup:
The Evo has also been adopted by the DSM camp since dodge used to run the Lancer badge on some of their cars.

Avengers and the like have also been known to have Chrysler shell with Mitsu parts throughout.

speaking of running lancer badges.. i saw an old dodge lancer.. looked almost like an aries or an old lebaron... betcha it'd be one mean rallying machine :D
