| im thinking they must be busy becasue they couldnt possibly put this off for this long... Im thinking maybe like most body shops ect. they have a 1 month waiting list this could be the same scenario? |

You mean EC automotive machine?
I was happy with the work they did. I will go to them again.
Getting the parts took forever but that wasn't there fault. Once the parts were there it took a couple weeks to get all the machine work done.
Call them and find out what's going on. |

Doubt it. They told me i could drop off a motor and have it a week later for a full rebuilt on an h22 head. |

really? cause they said it takes anywhere from 3-6 weeks to get all the machine work done and parts ordered in. your basically on a waiting list, and i would know cause i had a bunch of work done there. mike is more accurate with timing estimates compared to hal which can be pretty far off sometimes. |

| would they have done most the machine work prior to getting the parts in? |

it really depends on what you need. they gotta get the block cleaned up and then measure up the clearances before they can really order anything in, otherwise it might be the wrong clearance for and given part |

Did you tell them you were in any type of rush? I know Mike had alot of bad luck(family issues) at the start of the year. I had custom pistons ordered and it took 9 weeks just for them alone. I have not heard of any bad work coming out of that shop though.
Good Luck |
