There is no such thing as AEM certification. You can go take a course to familiarize yourself with the program and what it offers, but it only shows you around the program, not how to tune a car.

Well from when i talked to the aem rep he said they do learn how to use the program to tune

All they do is show you around the program, they teach you nothing about actually tuning a vehicle. Also, there is no "certification". You get a certificate at the end of it saying you attenting the session.
