so yesterday I decide to start up the Z and you know get her out of the garage and clean it up and all that jazz.

well first I decide to fix my driver door because AMA broke it trying to unlock my door last summer. anyway I get covered in that stupid door grease thats all sticky and stuff and I still couldn't find the piece that was missing.. so I grab a trouble light....while plugging it in I stand up beside my car hitting my back on my side mirror ripping it clean off!! so after alot of swearing, beer drinking, stuff kicking I get back to work and say screw it to the mirror. I find the missing part stuck on the magnet of my speaker!!! and its unrepairable until i fab up a new part and some how make it fit in the door GAHHHH.

so after being really mad at that im like ok ill just start her up and maybe go around the block.. well the battery is dead (ya thats a givin) so I Jump it with the pathfinder. but everytime I take off the jumpers it dies again. OH LOOK my fan belt isn't moving..isn't that supposed to move? ya the drive belt snapped.. so no alternator GREAT!!.

Day one ended perfectly!! :blue:

but I guess im glad it broke in the garage instead of goin down the highway or somethin right?

lets just hope things start to go more smoothly this week

ok end rant!!

PS. Any one else have their Z out yet?..I'm kinda late on getting mine out.

I did see a nice dark blue one at Don Cherry's on 137th ave last night and
A very clean black LHD one at the U of A last Sunday I think.

I still have mine parked. Waiting for the streets to be cleared and it to warm up a little more. Summer rubber just isn't conducive to these cold temperatures.

Check Black Gold in Nisku and see if they still have the parts car. I know it was an LHD N/A, but the parts might work on your car.

As well, there is another parts car in Calgary - here: http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...QQAdIdZ40376515

I believe this car is also LHD.

Best of luck!

LOL... this is not "late"! Its still March. :) Not for Northern Alberta. I've never brought my Z out sooner than April 1st.

yeah i got parts of that guy, went down and picked up 2 fenders off him and some other stuff. Nice guy still had a bunch of stuff left, everything was in mint condition lhd from the states was a salvage so the guy couldn't register it for some reason? guess it was a flood salvage. anyways he's got a lot of stuff left all the interior pretty much. seats might be sold by now. and he said someone was coming to look at the engine later the day i was there
