Hey, sorry to keep on bothering anyone, but my antenna motor is messed, which isnt a big deal, I don't really care about that, but the problem is that whenever I turn my 7 on or off, the motor makes a horrible gridning noise, trying to extend the antenna. I tried unplugging it, whichs topped the motor running, but it also stopped my cd player from working because the antenna motor is wired through the stereo... just looking for some input, any would help.
Thanks |

| i had the same problem, but i re-connected the motor and pushed it down. i don't know why your stereo doesn't work though because mine does :dunno: |

yea, it was messed, but I disabled it this weekend..
i was TOLD that the fuse for it was attached to the antenna motor.. so I was digging around there..
pathetically, the answer was simple once i looked at the main fuse box.

| I was trying to do the same thing for my fd but the fuse also controls the power mirrors and the deck among other things. Is there another way to disconnect the antenna from going up? |

| Have you tried removing the motor? |
