today on the Henday, heading west in traffic....

hey, I recognize that wing on the tree-fitty ahead of me...

It's Jeff heading home from work. Didn't see me until I was alongside.

I was waving 5 fingers at you = 5000km

time for my oil change in approved Fluidlife containers.

Regards,

I'll bring one to the meeting for you.

The reason I didn't see you until you were right behind me is I sit high enough that unless I duck down I can't see more than about 4-6 car lengths behind the car due to the center brake leds pulling the headliner down before the rear window. Plus the wing about divides the view in half down the middle (my rear visibility sucks). That plus I'm using cruise control and not really spending a lot of time looking for faster traffic.

Excuses, excuses... :p

Situational awareness, I have that habit from the bike. I always gauge traffic around and behind me, it's saved my bacon more than once. In fact, did you see the Mazda racing team come flying up behind me as you were exiting on 111th? The MX3 Precidia and the blue Mazda 3 came flying up passing cars on the right. I saw them and stayed put, as I was thinking of changing lanes. They flew by and I made my lane change. Doesn't make for relaxation behind the wheel, but keeps the heart rate up.

Oil's changed, had a container from last meeting. I'll need another one for next time.

Regards,
