| Hey everyone. Just thought i'd say whats up. Ive owned a 94 lude srv now for about a year and must say its a very unique car. In my opinion, and im not being biased, the fourth gen prelude has the looks, performance and somewhat luxury options (leather, heated seats) that makes this car a very AWESOME CAR!!! Way ahead of its time, especially with the wicked dashboard. Wherever i go i get comments on how cool the dash looks. Yeah so to all the fellow luders in edmonton WHATS UP! |

Bought my lude may 07. I actually bought it off 780tuners. You probably may have seen it floating around on the for sale forum. It is milano red, pretty tip top condition. Looking to do alot of tasteful mods to it. Firstly wheels, tires, suspension. |

| f22? Don't sell it if it is that one. I was tempted to pick it up and sell my brother mine. Keep it, i am more than willing to help you work on you lude as i am sure the rest of the club is. |

I would love to get wheels and rubber too... just a bit expensive while in school. My stock alloys need some rest.
Yeah if you ever need any help, I'd be more than willing...
If only we could get these 5 SR-V's together at once... always seems to be tricky. |

im sorry was this directed to me? My lude is the genuine srv model. I think ive seen the f22 lude for sale recently on this forum. Have you guys ever thought of going 5 lug. My dream rims are the work emotion cr kai in black with the red lettering. I think that will look amazing on a 4th gen lude. I got expensive taste in rims. I think i might go with sprinthart cpr's with red lug nuts and azenis rubber for now. |

my bad. i thought you had that f22 one. Awesome!! Even moreeeeeee SRV's in the club  the club is pretty much just 4th gen srv's. Those rims are awesome.
The 5 lug conversion costs about 500-600 but you get all new brake parts (strongly recommended) rims are sex. |

so right now im rolling on bald winter tires. Its very depressing because i want to upgrade soon but im not having any luck with getting in contact with any sellers.
I did however find a set of 16" bronze mugen mf8's for sale for 1400 obo in great shape. Hopefully that doesnt fall through. Im also trying to get a set of jdm itr rims with new rubber for $650. Fingers crossed.:D |
|
|
| NightmareMX6 |
| The itr rims rub on the calibers to let you know. I think you need spacers or something to get them to work right. |
|
|
| konartis |
| really? dang! Im sure all i need is a couple spacers |
|
|
| NightmareMX6 |
I would say stay with the mugen rims
BTW post some pics of your car |
|

That price for ITR rims is way to high. I have a pair on hold right now for $400 with tires in great shape. Planning to get them tomorrow if i can find out if what ryan says is true. If not i am not opposed to spacers. |

| rims came with the car when i bought it. There really isnt any flaws except for the cracked passenger mirror. Whats the cheapest way to fix it? I dont wanna get a completely new mirror assembly. |
|

| Alluminium foil and some hot glue :dunno: |

the itr wheels do rub. i knew someone with a 4th gen and itr wheels and the caliper took about 2mm off the inside hub of the wheel. they worked, but the offset is wrong. a spacer would fix it.
edit- just checked and the recommended spacer for itr wheels is 5mm. |
|
|
| Prudz_lude |
| yup, i just talked to a few friends on honda-tech. They confirmed a 5mm and i got a set for 15 shipped! Not that bad, tires, rims, and spacers for $415 total. |

I want ITR's....:(
Well, I'd settle for pretty much anything other than stock... but I'm not sure if I can justify spending any money on wheels right now. I'd love to get a header and intake, but I'm not entirely convinced that doing so would improve performance significantly.
Also, my front rotors & pads are being replaced, along with the rear pads. I'm wondering, since I'm doing brake work anyways, if it would be smarter to just get a 5-lug swap done... |

| I have JDM Power Folding Mirrors for sale..... That would fix your problem (= |

I would only do a 5 lug if you have taste is very expensive rims. Otherwise there are a ton or wheels you can look into like rota for example.
Personally i would get tires and wheels first. You will probably see more gains simply due to better traction. Header and intake are a waste without a vafc or some sort of management and a full exhaust. That is unless you got them for very cheap. |

stockers should be kept for winter. I have 95% tread left on my stockers that will be stored away for next winter. Go to importconcern.ca and pick out a set of rims and tires. That is where i got my ITR rims from. I got the price down to $400. Most of those rims have been there for a year so they will take lowballs hahaha. Maybe not a crazy lowball but i knocked off $60 without even seeing them in person. |
