The car: http://forums.probetalk.com/showthr...ht=supercharger
1997 Ford Probe GT 5spd. Supercharged via M62 Mercedes C230 Eaton blower.
I have been runing FMU/FPR for 6 months and now it's time to go MSnS. I have it all wired up and now I'm trying to setup the sofware. There is a ton of stuff to learn and I'm looking for some help. I have been reading the manuals, but that is taking some time and I'd like to dyno by the end of the month. Anybody know MS well, and willing to help out?
Also, who dyno tunes MS in Edmonton? |

I talked to Martin at AFI about MS tuning my truck and he said he'd do it. Maybe give them a call.

I have an AEM wideband and I'm playing with MS right now on the bench. It has the 025z code loaded with a base map. So the car is not runing, but will be in the next couple of days. I have the MS wired right to the engine ECU so thre is no under the dash wire splicing. |

MS1 V 3.0 built by a guy in Florida who tunes and makes these units for the Mazda MX6, MX3 and Ford Probes. The guy really knows his shit.
For most part I'm using stock hardware. The are a couple of things that are different:
1: using a GM AIT sensor and that will be shared with stock ecu
2: getting rid of the stock disty and usning 3000GT coilpacks (will be installing those probably tonight).
Everything looks ok though, I was hoping that there is somebody around that is proficient with MSnS to help me out. I'm reading the manual but it's a ton of info to absorb at once. A ral steep learning curve I guess. |

squiental or wasted? how will you be driving the coils?
mines also extra code with COP. And yes, much to learn. I started off with no base map too. Cold start is what us canadians shine at. |

Wasted spark and the coils are being driven by 3 VB921 ignitors. I'm lucky as far as the map goes as this unit came with a really good base map that was run on a stock car. I have the nice option on the supercharger with the on/off switch. So I can turn it off while tuning, via electric clutch. |

here my mini build thread for my megasquirt.

you should hook up the switch on megasquirt for the eaton.
Then you can run dual maps. How does air get into the engine if the eaton is turned off? |
