I saw the pics.
It was bad.

He brought is S15 Silvia to get some service done.

After the oil change, a mechanic decided to take it for a "test drive".

Drove fast, hit lots of stuff. Car totaled.

Owner swears he will never let anyone drive his car again.

"many people have emailed me requesting if any parts will be for sale. at this stage the insurance company
will be taking the car. therefore the motor, gearbox, etc will be out of my hands. I will, however, have some
parts for sale on this page in the next week or two once the paperwork settles.

how NOT to do an oil change ...
an apprentice did an oil & filter change (only). decided to do the notorious 'road test' as well ...he appears to have lost it around a slight bend, in a 50 zone, although the car was in 3rd gear at the time
which would equate to 100+km/h on full throttle. the pictures and damage to the vehicle support the
argument that the speed limit was not being abided by.lost the rear end, came sideways into the gutter, jumped the gutter and went rearward into a telegraph
pole at substancial speed ...
then spun around on the telegraph pole, from the momentum, and took out about 3 metres of brick fencing
knocking the bricks far enough, and at such force, as to take chunks of brick out of the house 5 metres away.
he also just missed a gas main.
luckily there was no one else on the road, in the car, or in the persons front yard at the time. the driver got out
and with blood coming from a large laceration behind his right ear (impact with the seat belt pillar), took a few
steps and collapsed. ambulance was called and took him to hospital with neck brace, etc ... he is OK although
has a fractured skull and is recovering.I return to the workshop in the afternoon to be confronted by the Service Manager.
he reports to me that the car had been involved in an 'incident' ...
they have given me a replacement vehicle until the insurance is sorted out. they are happy to cover any
costs, etc ...
... although I am seeking legal advice no more boot ... I can't get my CD's out of the stacker :(and I had new tyres on it too :(Nissan no longer make the 200SX, so I don't know what's next for me! whatever it is, I won't be allowing
*anyone* to drive it, under any circumstances."

Still works for me, if you wanna see pics.
