Hey. I got a ticket in September for 16-30 over the limit. The ticket was in Nova Scotia. I paid the fine and took a ten day license suspension. Now , 8 months later, I get a letter in the mail saying my license is suspended. My license already was suspended for ten days and it's 8 months later! The suspension is for a month starting May 1st. Coincidentally, I start my job on May 1st which requires me to drive to job sites each day.
Since my license was suspended can they suspend it again?
Maybe blocker can shed some light on this and give me some advice? |

For clarification, I would attend a registries (AMA) and have them check for you. Have them check your Drivers abstract.
I don't know if you have any other tickets or what your status is. If you still have a GDL, remember you are only allowed 7 demerits befor you suspended.
Have you had any other driving offence tickets in alberta, even a couple of speeding tickets (non photo radar) an add up quickly.
One stunting tickets is worth 6 demerits and spedding tickets range from 2-6. |

| I'm scheduled to write my advanced road test on the 24th. The only thing is the website for license monitoring alberta or w.e it is called said they will inform you of a suspension within 21 days of being proven guilty. So.. 21 days after I paid the ticket.. Which was december 19th or so... It's now 4.5 months later. It's an alberta license and the ticket that put me over the limit was issued in N.S |
