Group Purchase, sort of - Click HERE for Original Thread

rexxrally
I have an opportunity to purchase a whole garage full of MR2 stuff. I can't really afford all of it, nor do I need all of it, but this person is looking to move the whole lot in one piece.

So, I'm wondering if anybody out there would be interested in any of this stuff. If I bring it to Edmonton, would you be interested in buying any of it off me? If there's enough interest in this "group purchase", then I'll go ahead and do it.

I don't know a lot of the specific details on the following, but I'm trying to find out. I will give out more details as I get them. If you have questions for me to ask, let me know and I will forward them.

There's an 86 MR2 roller with a roll cage installed. I want the rally suspension that's on the car, but I have a complete stock suspension to replace it with.

There's an 85 parts car. How complete it is, I don't know.

There's 3 engines, and 1 five speed tranny.

There's wheels and tires, and "etc.", whatever that means.

If no one's interested in the whole cars above, I'll part them out. This stuff will be coming from the States.

I realize no can definitely commit without knowing more details, but let me know if you're at least interested in this. Email me at dave dot sharp at canada dot com. Thanks.

I wonder If any of the cars have a complete front end? I do need the whole thing from the headlights down.

Think you be able to find out?

Thanks,

I will certainly try.

I have to try and figure out if it's financially worth it to shell out the bucks to bring them in. I'm looking at probably about $2800 Canadian to bring it all in to Edmonton. I'm not so sure I can make back that kind of money off of just parts. Anybody out there can give me a realistic estimate of what this stuff is all worth?

Its really hard to say how easy you can unload some of the stuff you're buying.
YOu should really find out what you're buying first. Get specific details.

I certainly be interested if you can get a 87+ parts car as I might be needing parts as time goes on.

Orange69
I would bet you could make more than that just of selling the parts, to guys around Edmonton, and Calgary.

I would take some stuff, not to much, but some stuff. Various body parts, engine pieces...etc. $100 give or take.

Keep us updated.

Thanks and good luck.
