I think I picked probably the most controversial pick so far...choosing the Sens over the Pens.
Even though the Pens are a great team, I don't think they have enough experience. I know the Sens have been playing shitty lately...but I wouldn't count them out just yet. ;)

I love Ottawa !!! But as the season went I didn't find them bankable...heck at the start I would have picked them for the final but they just seemed to spiral down and down...
Goaltending & defense could be the downfall for the Pens but they've got good power play...and Ottawa hasn't been great with killing penalties
Won't be disappointed if the Senators can win this round though !! |

I refuse to cheer for the Flames or Ottawa, I don't mind the Habs however. I'd like to see San Jose win it. They've been a top team for a couple of years now and I think they're perserverance will pay off this year. |

Holy hell that was a fantastic hockey game. Not the fact that it went three and a half OT periods, the fact that it went three and a half hard-checking, big chances, big saves and stellar, old-school hockey all around. That's what the NHL playoffs are all about.
Save for a penalty each the refs put away their whistles. Unfortunately for the Sharks, their penalty proved to be their undoing. I was hoping to see the Sharks take that because that would have been a hell of a Game 7.:thumbup: |
