Worst place ever to ask for advice like that.
It's not that easy, but it's also not that hard.
If you've done somthing like that before... 3 days.
If you've never done a project like that before, chances are it will sit in your garage for 6 months. |

Wouldn't it be easier to just get a 2G mr2?
For sure you will need:
Engine, Transmission, ecu, wiring harness, cv shafts and break/hub assembly
More than likely you will need rear subframe out of a turbo 2G mr2, unless you want to make all the mounts and bash the hell out of the subframe in the car.
The 3sgte doesn't even go into a non-turbo 2G mr2 very easily... you need an entire rear clip to get it done.
Better off with a 4agez or a 20V, they are easier and straight ahead swaps. |

| Sure just getting a MK2 would be easier, but a MK1.5 is uber cool. Of course, if you're asking up here, hit up the other mr2 sites before even thinking of starting. |

ive done me research....this was a pretty silly thread, i should have researched then asked.
but i know now, its a very intesive swap due to the modifications and fabrication required. but hey, ill never know exactly how hard it is if i dont try.
also, the step by step guide on twobrutal.com is perfect, it should help tons. |

| I recently bought a '91 AE92 corolla GTS with a 3SGTE swap (same 4AGE-to-3SGTE as the MR2 would be, and probably VERY similar wiring)... it's a serious mess right now, but i'm slowly straightening things out. not sure if i could be much help, but if pm me if you have a question about anything. |
