Anyone know a Audio Shop in Edmonton that actually uses a RTA to tune with?
Or better yet know where I can borrow/rent a RTA? |

Ooooh, what kind of audio equipment/tuner do you use?
I was talking to a guy on southside and he said.. Audio FX has one that they use. Mind you if you can find one you can borrow or rent, can you give me a heads up? Once I put in the rest of my door speakers I want to tune it. |

It's been a while since I've done any system tuning, so I haven't been to any shops to do it.
Most decent shops shoud have an RTA, even not-so-decent shops will HAVE one. Anywhere that sponsors sound-offs will.
If you like, I have a CD that I created using a sine wave generator, and a regular SPL meter will work for tuning. It has sine waves in 1/3 octave intervals from 20Hz to 20kHz, plus a sweep track. It won't take interactions from multiple frequencies into account, but it will give you a good starting point to work from, so that you can get done your tuning faster. |
