what is the benefit of using performance struts?
are they softer? harder? or what? thanks

ChromeDragon
All depends on what kind you get. A decent performance damper will offer adjustability that will allow you to tailor it to the task at hand. Better response time is another big plus as well. There are lots of people that go overboard with too stiff of springs to try to compensate for dampers that aren't up to the job.

With a good setup you should be able to maintain decent ride comfort for the street while being able to turn it up for the track.

Lowering your car with springs is only have the job. To get a properly set up suspension, you NEED adjustable struts/shocks.

On that note.. More people in this city should look into a decent strut/spring combo. You can make the car handle just as good while not dealing with the retarded japanese spring rates of most coilovers.

i have them, they are great. They aren't adjustable though. They are pretty stiff though. I matched them with really stiff springs, neuspeed race springs. The stiffest made for my car. they made the handling amazing but the down side is it is a bumpy ride lol

By any chance do you know if eibach is kwon for stiff spring?

EK9Hatch
Actually a lot of guys use Eibach springs with the KYB shocks/struts. Eibach is a pretty smooth ride for a lowering spring. I would recommend this combo for sure!
