i was just wondering what kinda power do you guys think i could be running..
ive got a 2.4 stroker, gt30r,3' turbo back exhaust, tube ss exhaust manifold, greddy bov, dual stage boost controler,extrernal waste gate, maf translator 780 injectors, fuel reg. wideband, 272 cams, ported polished head maybe a few other small things but thats all i can think of for now
but any ideas? |

| That would do 400hp without much effort (im no expert but the gt30 is good to just under 500hp in a dsm I think)... with that kind of build I would have thought one would know what kind of numbers they are putting down. :dunno: |

i have a fair idea what i would be running but just want some othe input
from what me a nd a few other ppl think i should be running around 480ish motor power with about 400whp
does this sound fair? |

| Tuning with a translator on the stock sidemount, and stock fuel pump, I'd say you'd be lucky to have 250hp to the wheels. |

| I have a fuel pump but it's going into the car eventually. Kris has a front mount in his garage somewhere, no piping though. |

i think i just picked up a pump today so thats good and i have a front mount just no pipe...
dropping in my motor today! it was hard enough to pull out with the tranny on. is it eisier with or woth out the tranny to drop back in ? i mean time and effort wise |

From 250-450. It really depends on tuning.
Without proper tuning, all the parts in the world wont do u any good.
There are a lot of other factors as well, |

The only way to know is to put it on a dyno. There are so many ways that tuning can affect power... You've got the POTENTIAL for 400+ whp, depending on tuning, how well the port and polish was done, other valve train factors, fuel delivery...
If you've done that much in the way of aftermarket parts and upgrades, it's not that much more to put it on a dyno to KNOW what you've got. (Not that I know what the issues are to put an AWD in a dyno, as I've only ever done RWD.) |

You have to run a v/c eliminator and run it off the front wheels.... its a bit of a pain. |

Tranny and engine as a whole is easier if you have all the tools and are by yourself. Either way isn't that hard though. Doing the timing belt out of the car is very nice. |

yeah just got the car up and running today! YEAH
need some fine tuning on a few things and i just broke my damn driverside brake calipar... i need one asap can anyone sell me one cheap?
yeha tune and dyno is the next thing on my list just want the fmic kit first before anything
anyone have a used driverside brake calipar? |

ok just made a few more adjustments this weekend to my list of mods
i now have my 255 walbro fuel pump. and i just got a fmic ( finally!) took way to damn long... and i got a safc 2 and 550 injectors rather than the 780 and maf trans. |

| well when u put a good 5000k on the new motor and if my car ever starts up again and i get it back from matt will hit the dyno togther to get them tuned and see what kind of numbers we can put down i am hoping for 380+whp |

| just installed 4 days ago. but some reason i have a loud ass tick to it and it smokes bad ass blue... anyone willing to come down and give me a hand plz? |

Blue means you are running super rich! (also can mean burning oil/turbo seals... we won't consider this) Try adjusting -10% right across the entire rpm range on your safc. I would bet you may need way more correction (like -20%). If you are running 3" exhaust your car will smoke a little more. At 14.7:1 my car still makes white smoke when its colder out, its just water....
Running at 9.XX:1 AFR (which also resulted in a rich misfire) at WOT my car made a lot of blue smoke (ridiculous amounts). If you aren't running your car hard you wont have to worry about damage. My car still pulled off a 15.1 @ 90mph (LOL) puffing smoke like a blown rotary at Castrol last year, sadly I wasn't the slowest run that night. :lol:
That tick is probably just injector tick... |

not lifter tick i can almost 100% say that it seems way to lound for lifters.
and my wideband needs to be reinstalled now im going to have to reweld the bung in and install it from scratch
and tunning well still looking for help on that. i dont have the book to help with it and not sure about electrical stuff... so i try to stay away from it and look for help when ever i have to do telectrical |

your missing a fmic, and a fuel pump to put down some serious numbers, also tuning with the maf trans is garbage, go grab dsm link, and you would be good for more then 400whp with a fmic and fuel pump.
also your tranny would go to shit, with that much power. |
