I want to sit in your LHD FD - Click HERE for Original Thread

2blave
I don't own an RX7, but I want to. I'm 6'3" so I'm worried I won't fit. Would anybody with a LHD RX7 be kind enough to let me try sitting in their car? I'd really appreciate it.

PM or reply in thread.

THANKS!

Transporter
mobius is a about 6'-3 and he fits fine.
most tall people have long legs which is not problem

unless you have longer torso then your head will hit the top

I myself am 6' tall but when i sit my torso is the same lenght as my buddy and he is 5'-9

I was tight in my fd when I had it. I couldn't wear a helmet with out it resting on the ceiling. But I am also a pretty big guy.

Fitting in a LHD FD is not too bad. It's not a perfect driving position, but it works. Like Transporter said, it depends on your build. Some people have trouble @ 6ft tall, yet I've heard of one guy who claims he fits fine and he's 6'5"

I just remembered that I've sat in an MX-3 Precidia. Is it roomier than the RX-7 or about the same?

Transporter
in the rx7 you are in more lower position kinda like an L (rotate that 90 deg counter-clockwise)

best bet if you are unsure is jsut show up at club social, and track event or go to a few import delearships and sit in the car

Many people have change dthier seats or modified their raisl to suit them you would be hard pressed to find one with stock seats and height

so just go sit in the car u are planning on buying if there is one availble for you to buy...

and if this is a future purchase thing then remember you can always modfiy seats to make your self fit
