I am looking for any information on how to do a head swap from a f22b2 engine to the h22 dohc head. I need to know if i can just swap the head onto my f22 block. Any info on this would be appreciated seeing as i am new to the import scene .

I was told by a couple import drag racers it is possible with very inexpensive mods and can handle 15 psi of boost with better internals. I believe he said an h23 head on a f22 block.
Like i said i am new to this but i know any person can make something work woth the right initiative.

You can't make stuff work if the bolt holes, oil ports, and coolant passages don't line up.

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothrea...7086&page=2 This is a link to a guy that has done the work he has posted a step by step instruction for this swap so i really dont know why you guys arent willing to help someone but whatever happy reading and thanks for nothing. Like i said "no" isnt in my vocab especially when i met someone that has done it.

just boost it and be done with it. your adding complications to it if all your looking for is adding some power, unless what you are in fact looking for is a headache

if the guy posted a how-to on this, why dont you look over it and then decide for yourself if you have enough information? given that the guy is from honda-tech, those guys can probably provide you with more information then 780tuners can on the same subject

first off people forget theres a bunch of dohc f series engines. your pretty much want to convert your h23(f22b is jdm version, pretty much) to vtec. this imo is pointless, for the price of a h22 you might as well swap the whole engine over and also save your self the headache and in the end you will prob save money.
