Well that's why there is a price drop to $39.99 and the game also has a decent amount of cars but only 5 tracks.

actally you can buy modded versions of the cars... but you cant mod them yourself.... although when you pass class a,b, and c... you can tune them

The only update that should be coming out after Prologue is the full game. No modding = No Gran Turismo. I guess the PS3 can wait. |

i have pro street already :p
i just can't see them dropping the modifications. it was one of the things that made the GT series big. the levels of customization you could go through. if they took that portion out of the game i will not purchase it and be quite content with forza 2 and gt4. just my opinion of course. |

How would you feel if Honda started producing the S2000 with no rear brakes? Modding is the second best part of GT, after the realism. If they remove that, they're removing an essential and that makes this a very good looking version of NFS Hot Pursuit. Would you play Mario if he couldn't jump? |

| I'm bleary eyed this morning from that game. The graphics really are stunning at 1080p. Physics are even further improved (playing professional physics). The game is missing a lot, but it's still a great buy at $40. I found that the controller felt a bit different than gt4, but with the G25 it's perfect. The AI is 100X better, they are actually aware of other cars on the track and make mistakes. It's still not a hard core sim like GTR2, but it makes up for it in looks and feel. |

| Its not like clutch, turbo, etc. It is a tune lower wight, tire, suspension, hp gain, a meter kind of thing. |

i kinda agree....cleary as well all know this is not the final product of the game....there is modding later on in the game, and as stated by PD this is only 10-15% of what the game will really be like.....for the ammount of cars and stuff in the game its actually pretty good....online is very smooth for the most part(only once have i expireced lag)......for some ppl its not justifyable and for some it is.....but saying mario without jumping and s2000 with no rear brakes is foolish, as this is not the final build.....its kinda like a fuck you look what i can do kinda showcase from PD IMO at least |
