ef tranny - Click HERE for Original Thread

I would like to know what motors will bolt up to an ef tranny? Hope some one can help me out.

THUD
Well pretty much any D series tranny will bolt up to and D series motor.
So it you got a d15b7(EG) it should bolt up to tranny off a D15b2(EF) 88-91 any d15 or d16 will do, a buddy swaped a EG tranny into a 97 civic no problem :beer:

b18b.eg
arent ef transmissions cable? not hydro?

if you have an ef you can put any d series you want pretty much into it.

if you want to reuse your ef tranny in a eg or ek DONT waste your time (this is only applicable, if i ef trannys are cable).

Stainless
I wish I could help you ef a tranny, but I don't have any idea where you could find a tranny around these parts, let alone want to help you ef one. All the luck to you though. Make sure you use lots of lube during the assembly process though.

have

should have

not "should of"

"Should've" is a conjuction of should + have... When spoken aloud, I can see where the common misconception of "should of" comes from... But it's incorrect.

If EF=D & B != D Then

wscript.echo "D series will not fit on a B series"

end if

wscript.quit

Thats what I was thinking. But why use a D-series and a B-Series? Why not just bolt 2 B-Series motors together? :dunno:
