Yo yall, i got a set of 14" 4x100 Motegi MR7's... i was just wondering if i would need a new set of lug nuts in order to put them on the Lude (1990) I ask because the Holes in the motegi look a lil smaller than the stock lude rims.
Thank you for your time,
Keegan

Prudz_lude
yah i think you do. I think dylan (4thgenlude) had to run slimmer lugs on his 4th gen to get the rims on.

anschutz_93
yes

Beagles
either of you know where i could go to get some?

Prudz_lude
any shop that sells wheels would be my guess

Beagles
sweet... ill have to take a quick 3 minute trip to kal tire then lol

Thanks!

anschutz_93
Any wheel/tire place will have them. It doesn't matter what style you get, in all honesty they are all easy to remove. Just ask for a spline drive set for a Prelude.

The reason that they wont work is the taper of the nut. If you somehow did manage to bolt it up using your oem nuts the wheel wouldn't center and they would probably destroy your rim (really deep etching).

Phone around but expect to pay $20 (min) and up. There is a huge mark up on these things so most shops should be willing to deal if they want your buisness.

Did you even read?

His car is a 1990, and the bolt pattern didn't change until 1992... The rims will fit fine.
