Meet on the 25th - Click HERE for Original Thread

Prudz_lude
I think we should have a meet on the 25th  We could meet each other and get to know each other. Check out the all the new cars since pretty much everyone is driving a new car except i think devin and tyler in edmonton  hopefully we could get a meet of over 10 peeps to show up

I jumped ahead to the 25th because my car won't be ready until then and i won't be done the exams until the 24th. I plan on doing all my mods on the 24th and 25th lol.

walkur1
I like the 25th too... I'm done on the 23rd. Hopefully it warms up by then. Count me in.

Adam, if you need help with any of those mods, I'd be more than willing to help. Just let me know, I've got nothing better to do.

Beagles
Im down!

Prudz_lude
You guys are all welcome to help me out if you want. Even if you want to just come hang out that is fine

Beagles
sure whynot, i could probably learn something!

walkur1
I'll probably end up doing that... I like watching stuff get done, cause then one day if I ever want to do the same thing, at least I'll have an idea.

On another note, got my front rotors and pads replaced today... looks easy enough, but I'm sol cause I don't have the right tools. I've got the rear rotors on order... paying for labour sucks though, even if the shop gives you a break on it :dunno:

:tear: I can't wait to have a garage with tools in it.

2ndgenlude
25th sounds good. i will be there.

im good with brakes. installed ryans rear rotors for him, and did all 4 on my prelude with oem stuff. not hard, just time consuming if you find a stuck bolt or something.

b18b.eg

Prudz_lude

Could be news to me but do you own a prelude? i do not remember? Not sure if you realize this is a prelude club meet not the 780 meet. Still if tyler is cool with it you are welcome to come.

Haha, ohh okay, maybe I'll go borrow a prelude from a dealership for a test drive and then come.
Uhh.. on second thought, I wont be there.
See you guys at a regular meet!

Prudz_lude

Haha, oh no, I didnt take it like that at all.
Thanks for the heads up! I think it would have been worse had I shown up :dunno:

walkur1
Sooo what's the plan for the meet? I just realized that I can't come out until 8-9, I don't know if that's too late or whatever... I'm really dying to come to a meet where more than 2 ludes show up :fingersx:

Beagles
If the blasted snow is gone by friday, im still down for coming :p

2ndgenlude
i should be there snow or not. if its too cold/ uc is dead we could head to bp's or something and grab something to eat. no reason to stop a meet due to a little cold lol. if the roads suck though then cruises are no fun. should be nice by friday though.

Beagles
So its gonna be at UC and or BP's? or we gonna give adam a hand?

2ndgenlude
what does his car need? and usually we meet at the air museum at kingsway, then cruise together down to united cycle on whyte and check things out then either cruise with the 780 group ( i try not to be part of the cruise) or go to bp's for something to eat/ chat. i don't like 780 cruises for the fact they play indy 500 all the way to the destination. ive seen people going 160 km/h down whitemud before. Last thing i need is a ticket with new car payments. Its just too crazy for me haha.

Beagles
yeah im only willing to speed when its daylight, on a barren highway, and my cars clean and shiny (dont ask me why it has to be clean, but it feels better) so i guess id skip out on the 780 cruise :p

As for what his car needs, i unno but in an earlier post he said he was doin his car mods on the 24/25

Prudz_lude
I have a bunch of stuff i need to do to my car. If the weather is like this on friday count me out. I hate winter meets. There is a reason i never show up to them lol. Plus, apparently i may have to go to some birthday party. I don't know guys. i'll keep you updated. If not, may 2nd.

Beagles
lol but its not winter, first day of spring was today! :tear:

Prudz_lude
yah, sadly enough

Beagles
if it wasnt for my collar bone id probably be out snow drifting my neighborhood! (my area is great for it... a lot of curve turns with cars generally not near the curve)

Prudz_lude
yup, count me out. Snow today, snow tomorrow, no way possible for me to get work done on my car. Sorry guys, hopefully may 2nd is nicer.

omg......fucking snow in may.

Beagles
Nope, im calling this another Ice Age.... fuck the car, im buying some ballin ass gold plated dogs and a lowered chrome sled. Ill use em to hunt me some mammoths.

walkur1
So is this being postponed until the 10th, dyno day? If not, what's the plan?

2ndgenlude
we could do it next friday. will be nicer out, turnout should be better. plus tonight is the only night my installer for my compustar can do it lol.

Beagles
im good to go either way

2ndgenlude
well my install might be done by then so i might still make it. i will post if i can't around 8.

2ndgenlude
prob not going to make it. still installing. next week will be a lot better, and warmer i figure anyways haha

Beagles
yeah even though the snow has started to melt, its kinda miserable out

2ndgenlude
ya. compustar install went to midnight...lol
it was a bitch on the civic. we had the american wireing diagram and the ebrake wire was different for Canadian versions, we couldn't get through the firewall, main brain was acting up, etc. was a nightmare lol. its all done now thank god. i will be out next friday for sure. calender is cleared for friday night. hope to see a bunch of people out :)

Beagles
Well at least the car didnt light on fire:rolleyes:

And i might need an address or something for the meeting spot... i only half know where the air museum thang is:dunno:

Prudz_lude
i will be attending next firdays meet if this weather keeps up.

NightmareMX6
I will be making it to fridays meet too I think
