But to actually make a post on this topic I was telling my wife that with prime constantly dropping we are actually losing money by not maxing out the loc and buying useless crap. :D |

Perhaps I should be pushing the argument with my wife to get my E90 THIS YEAR as opposed to next year. :p Some of the cash incentives I've seen on new cars, you could borrow on your LOC (vs dealer financing) and still come out ahead.

It actually bugs me that right now I only owe money on my house and nothing else. And I have two 06 vehicles so really no need to upgrade yet. Back in the day when I was starting out and actually used the loc quite a bit I would have loved to have had rates this low. :(

That is always my prefered method of buying a car if possible because I like the flexibility that comes with the loc. Plus like you said you get the added cash incentives and I have also found that it is typically easier to negotiate off of a cash price. |
