ok so I want a euro plate for my car and I have seen some around town. is htere a place in edmonton I can have one made or where I can buy one.
I have seen some online places that make really any plate you want from what ever country you want, to say anything you want in a sort of real vanity plate sort of way. I just don't want to have to buy it online if I can get one in edmonton. |

accually they do have focus' in europe. looks at the focus rs, focus st, focus st170 those are all european focus'. of coarse I get slaged by a by a honda guy what more am I to exspect. if you really want to know ford in europe and germany is huge( bigger then honda). they even use focus' as cop cars in some parts. |

| well i can atleast get the motor and tranny since it is just a wid body focus really. hell a v8 fits under the hood. I wonder if I relly need the engine or if I just need the turbo stuff( piping, turbo, manifod, etc) and the intake system and computer. it would save me a hell of alot of time and money to do it that way. |

| I think it'd be more work than it's worth. You can just buy a turbo kit for the Zetec you have, and put down 200hp with the right supporting mods. |

the focus was designed by ford of europe, and by cosworth. it was in europe for 2 years before ford desided to bring it to north america so yes the focus is a euro car just like the cosworth escort or the ford murkr. and just so you know it would be like adding a euro plate to your mini since it isn't a euro car anymore, it is built in mexico like my car so I guess your a euro poser to huh.god I hate people who just look for the smallest thing on a car to nit pic.

ok I could deal whet the jokes but calling me a poser for wanting a euro plate on my car is just stupid. I naver said I was a euro tuner either but knowing most people on this forum if I did a rs conversion I'd be called a ricer.
and yes the bumpers are pretty much the only differance between the euro focus and the north american focus but if you want to get tachnical then the tune is differant two if you look att he engine pice of the rs it is just a zetec motor with a turbo and a tune. hell even the duratec it a duratec zetec moter, just has a differant displacement. but what even I'm sick of getting bashed for driving a focus, sorry if I choose a car that won the wrc for three years in a row and was pertially designed by a company that designs formula engines god forbid someone buys something domestic and tune it.
whatever I like my car for what it is for everyone who has given me constructive info thank you.
for the rest well I just get reminded why I don't go to the meets anymore. |

I didn't say one thing in an insulting way to him whatsoever.
If I would have started calling him names, telling him I was going to burn his car to the ground if I saw it etc, is a bit different.

nobody knocking your focus but think about it your driving around with a european plate on a american model focus it looks stupid and thats rice 100%. your getting mad at us for giving u our opinion.
but do what u like i didnt mean to offend u if i did it was all in good humor we are all enthusiasts not judges but just so u know the american spec focus is far from being a RS even if u change your bumpers.
and u can get your EURO plate at west edmonton mall beside galaxie land they can make whatever u want.

I would have got the 9s, but they only come in et15. The poke in the front would have been way to huge, and to get just the rear.......staggered on a fwd car, while it still looks good, I just don't think it makes sense unless its say 1inch or less difference.
I was selling them, but I got stupid offers. So many people offered up keskins......I like em, but these wheels are worth a dumpload more, and aren't imposters.
