After the first video, I thought "Hrm, as long as they paint the parts, it shouldn't look so rice." Then I saw the second video.

Oh god, just once , JUST ONCE, can they make an F&F true to the race scene? Fuck hollywood! They ruin everything, especially the cars. They obviously had researchers looking through car mags, seeing how everyone builds their rides, so why rice them out? Maybe it's because they are a bunch of fags who drive volvos with interests in classical music and sunday brunches. It would be nice to see these homos get grabbed by their corduroy coats and suffer multiple knees to the head.
You would also think that after hearing and reading the massive amount of pissed off fans, that they would get their act together, but no, the same shit with the same bullshit, once again.
But like everyone else, I will pay my 12 bucks and watch this movie in the theaters :D |

People don't want to watch stock Civics race each other and for all you know this is exactly how the scene is down in L.A. I've seen actual live videos from some of the races and while it's not exact, there are big crowds of people around, some cheering.
Watching that second video I was thinking, 'WTF is with that Chevelle?" then the third race you see the big weights hanging off the back. Made a lot more sense because it wasn't launching anywhere close to hard enough to stand on the bumper.
P.S. Maybe that once will come though ... in Fast and Furious 18: Revenge of the Prius. |

| Asking for a movie true to the racing scene is like asking for a "real" movie about hacking... real movies about hacking would be boring as hell.. but movies like hackers are good :D |

The scene wasn't too much different in Toronto a few years back either, it was more F&F than the original F&F! Cops changed that though...
Out here, as Chromey said, it's civic racing GTS-T or something, lotsa rasp, and then someone believing the cops are coming. That'd be the, "F&F: Edmonton Nights" edition.
We'll all go watch this, and probably all enjoy it, even though we KNOW it's not realistic.
SpeedRacer will no doubt be a fun movie, but you won't hear people saying, "SO GAY!! SOOO GAY THAT BODY KIT SUCKS, WHAT A FAG!!!!" Because you would know that it doesn't make you cool.

I like the Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift though most especially Han's Veilside Fortune RX7 and DK's Veilside 350Z. Just hoping that the 4th F&F will keep up with my expectations.
