Worst F&*kin Bands Ever!!!! - Click HERE for Original Thread

Graphicdude
So I am surfing through the net and I come acorss these fuckwads......all I can say is wow.......

These bands get an EPIC FAILURE, LMAO!!!

White Chocolate http://www.myspace.com/wc4me
It's gotta be a joke, if not, these guys need a fresh backhand to the face

Scott Stapp (Creed Front Man) http://www.myspace.com/scottstapp
You sucked in Creed and you suck solo, your career is done, so quit trying

And here is Blender's List....
http://www.blender.com/guide/articles.aspx?id=466

I especially like seeing Master P on that list, what a fag.

And my personal favorite, Insane Clown Posse. The biggest pair of homo-erotic makeup wearing losers to EVER give Rap/Hip-Hop a bad name. I hope they burn in a car crash or get a few STDs. What makes them even worse is the fags in Edmonton who sported ICP decals on their rides back in the 90s.

ChromeDragon
Creed's first album was decent, but then they turned into preachy assholes cranking out the power ballads. Scott Stapp has always been a dirtbag though.

You just earned one of these.

Guns and Roses. No really, they were crap. You just got caught up in the hype. Axle Rose is like King Midas, except everything he touches turns to shit.

AudiInProgress
My vote for the worst band ever...

The Tragically Hip

No, you were just hypnotised by Axle's bobbing mop-topped stick-figured frame doing something resembling 'dancing'. Don't mistake good guitar for a good band.

Appetite for Destruction as an album was a masterpiece.

Exactly why GnR was awesome....

Anything involved with the human metronome makes me want to puke a little. The way most people on this board feel about the 1982 Trans Am, that's how I feel about Axle. The guy oozes grease-ball.

Graphicdude
I like the 82 Trans Am.......Scorpion, LPs and Drum Solos

This confirms it, not only do you not have any class, you do not have any taste.

Let me guess you like Bare Naked Ladies, and Nickelback right. Even worse you're a fan of Billy Talent no doubt. If I am correct which I think I am; you have fun at your local Starbucks reading your cosmo mag.

The only thing I have against Axle Rose is those damn shorts he wears during the Use Your Illusion I & II concert video! Good gawd!!! :omg:

Dragon force has VERY strong guitarists and drummers (they are pretty impressive) but the epic failure here is the lead vocalist sounds like some 90's glam rock singer. His voice is far too immature for the band.

I think Evan Seinfeld should kick ZP Theart's ass and take over.

Fail.

You're not even close.

Opeth, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Amon Amarth... Just to name a few of the bands I listen to.

I've never been to a Starbucks in my life, and I've never read cosmo magazine.

Hi Andy. :D

I know you're a Herman Li fanboy. I saw a previous post about him that you made a while ago.

Yes, he is technically proficient. And fast. No doubt about that. But there is more to being a good guitarist and songwriter than that.

My first impression when I first played Dragonforce's Inhuman Rampage album was this: Speed without purpose. At some points it sounded like the studio recording was SPED UP. If its not, and they really can play that fast live, good on them. But I still maintain... to what purpose? There music is not exactly the most melodic out there. (Give me Joe Satriani over these guys any day!)

I know what you're saying about the vocalist. However I think the fault is more to do with the lyrics, than his voice. The lyrics for most of the songs on that album are simply RETARDED. Not necessarily his fault alone.

Another band I've had relatively recent (over the last year) exposure to is Dream Theater. They too like Dragonforce have a weakness in the vocals department. And they too have a *star* guitarist. However I'll take John Petrucci and Dream Theater over Herman Li and Dragonforce any day. They are in my opinion the better band overall, if one were to make a comparison.

And as a guitar student myself, I look up to JP as an idol more than HL. (But JS more than both of them.)

I don't tend to be a music pirater, and hence I BUY pretty much all the albums I'm interested in. And its not often that I experience buyers' remorse, but that Dragonforce album was certainly one that I questioned whether I should've bought or not.

Cyanide Ride
Hi Jason :D

Heh, well, I wouldn't call my self a fanboy, but I do appreciate skill when I hear it (whether that skill being the ability to shred or drum at insane levels, just depends on what I'm in the mood for :p) If you have to ask "to what point" I guess that style just isn't for you... Then again, neither is the vocals for me.

Perhaps this dates back to all those years listening to speed metal, hell I just dusted off my Iron Maiden and SNFU "discography"

I haven't really listened to their lyrics because I've been trying to block them out and enjoy other aspects about the music. But I feel that even given half decent lyrics, TD would still flop. he just seems too out of place.

Joe Petrucci is very very good as well, a band I think is so-so, but lacking in the vocals. The one thing about Joe is that for a "star guitar player" he lacks presence. I think James Labrie isn't that much better than ZP either.

It's such a shame that some bands have to rely on the talent of one or two people rather than as an entirety. It seem like they are being held back by the forces of the suck in other members of the group. Each time I hear Dream Theatre, I get drawn back to a live cover of Metallica's Master of Puppets in which James absolutely butchered. I'm talking drawn and quartered brutality. They just shouldn't attempt things like that. Ever.

I would put both Dream Theate and Dragonforce almost in the same catagory. Perhaps it is because they lack a solid direction and just letting the stars carry the group?. Either or, both groups come across as missing something.

I think for me if I want "good" I'll dust off my Ozzy and Quiet Riot collection because Randy Rhoads will always be the best and taken far before his time.

Fuck yes! Going to Gigantour on May 11th to see In Flames live.

You can't really call them a shitty band because of their old stuff, but new Green Day was an epic fail. I threw American Idiot out the window after listening to it through once.

The only other album I've tossed out of my truck is St. Anger from Metallica, which made me lose a little faith in the world. However, on Sirius they reported that new Metallica is a leap back in time to what made them great in the past.

Angels and Airwaves gives me douche chills.

And my all-time most hated band is.....

Bayside. Die in a fire Bayside!

Holy shit, dude, what a fucking coincidence! I was driving down the highway with my 3-days advance copy of St. Anger from Metallica... I gave the disc 1 full play-through, and then rolled down my window and tossed that fucker right out the side, what a pile of horseshit!

Fair enough.

There we go. Some common ground. Iron Maiden >>>> Dragonforce, IMO.

Well, you're right about that. John Petrucci is fairly emotionally vacant when performing. He's solid technically, but doesn't exude that "rock star" quality.

Actually another commonality between those two bands is they are both trying too hard to create "epic" songs. (God, I hate that word... it's so overused these days. Even Jeremy Clarkson over does it). Iron Maiden was truly the master of the "epic" songs. Besides, both DT and DF are missing one important element if they want to be EPIC........ BRUCE DICKINSON.

I'm going to that concert too. But I'm going for one reason only... Megadeth. I'm not really familiar with the rest of the lineup. :(

LOL... I almost forgot about that album. Yes, I'll caulk that one up as another buyer's regret. Surprisingly I found that the Some Kind of Monster documentary made me appreciate it a little bit more, but at the end of the day its still a steaming pile of dog shit.

Cyanide Ride
Well Duh, Iron Maiden is 10x better than Dragonforce.

St. Anger just made me angry...

Pehaps it was all that time they spent chasing Napster users that sapped the awesomeness out and put the suck in.
