First... stereo's... Then rims... and now airbags?

Jeezus <--- indeed

project.D.
And before airbags and stereos, catalytic converters were sawn off SUVs or high trucks... It never ends.

a guy could make some good money sellin' airbags to small repair shops in edmonton with the rate of accidents we have here.

small business venture anyone?

with Airbags goin for atleast $1-200 a piece it is easy money. just as easy to get as a deck, but way better resale. Plus you dont have to deal with holding a product, fronting it yourself, or getting ripped off/ potentially ratted out by a pawnshop owner. You just go and grab what a mechanic asks for and they will usually pay decent prices

I remember hearing about OEM HID headlight assemblies getting stolen off cars as well. The Maxima was one such car that was targeted down in the states a few years back.

Thieves will steal what ever they can and anything that has re-sale value.

A lot of retards used to steal copper back in the day.

People still do steal copper, its expensive stuff and is easy to flip.

i hope those thieves try stealing an airbag one day and get smoked in the face, like in that one scene from Jackass when the guy rings the door bell. haha

air bags go off because of two descriminating sensors and a safing sensor. i highly doubt an airbag would go off during the dismantling process. of course static electricity is known to set them off but the connectors that are accessible usually have high resistant shorting bars (i'm not sure if that's the correct term for them) that ground the static shock so it doesn't set off the bag. unless of course they damaged this bar on the connector when removing it. then by all means pull up a chair and watch while hilarity ensues
