Sucks for all the employees out of work, and Dell obviously don't seem to care about their commitments...

Still, I'm going to let their share price drop a bit more, then I'm going to buy in.

you know their going to have to start advertising that..or something catchy again.

"the Dell guy helped Dell Computer Corp. generate some serious cash since the ads started running. While personal computer sales were down 31 percent during the first three quarters of last year, Dell's market share went up 16.5 percent -- more than double the previous year, according to The Wall Street Journal."

maybe Dell needs a redesign on their logo? lol

Dell wont just walk away. "Well I guess HP kicked our ass, we might as well close down". They arent just going to do that.

They will cut spending, shut down a few call centres, lower their operating expenses, tweak the final prices to the consumer (by either making a better product, or a cheaper product and selling more volume) which will increase the profit margin. Which means the share price will increase. Which means I make money.

I'm cool with that.
