| I got a parking ticket last saturday night on Whyte Ave in front of Stars. I was parked at a meter so I was quite surprised when i came back to my car to see it was there. I then noticed that very high, pretty much out of sight was a sign that said No Parking Cab Drop off 9pm-1am. On the meter itself it said nothing of this cab parking spot, just said the usual after 6 its free blah blah. It was not clearly marked at all, if I took some pics of this would it be worth fighting?? I mean trying to find a spot on the ave on Sat night is hectic, and when you see a meter you go for it. |

| i know exactly which metre you are talking about. my friend got a ticket there... i dont know if youll have a case, cause the sign is posted(even if its high). try it...doesnt hurt you or your fine in anyway... you never know...just stay away from all signed parking metres... they do that to trick you....that night my friend got his ticket, they handed out three tickets in those two spots in a span of a couple of hours... |

The question is - if you work fulltime during the days, is it WORTH your time to fight the ticket? |

I agree with TrevorK.... will it be worth your time. Generally parking tickets do not carry demerits...
But if you can make time and won't loose more than the ticket is worht, try to screw the city out of their money! It sounds like a ridiculous situation.... ` |
