| aprox 20hp. should take stock car from 160 to about 180hp. a street port with a header and good exhaust and a good intake system can often put down 180-190 at the wheels. |

| i currently have a street ported S4 13b. with a free flow exhaust. i'm looking for one of those cone air intakes. i've been looking on ebay. what's the diff between HP and WHP? it has also been rebuilt recently if that makes a difference. |

WHP is actual power to wheels after drive train loss. It is what you would see if your car is on a dyno.
HP to most people means what the engine produces at the crank. WHP is accurate (but different dyno's record differently...), HP @ the crank isn't accurate unless you have had the engine tested outside the vehicle. |

sort of. the engine has to come completely apart to be ported so to do that and not do rebuild would be a huge waiste of time and money but i could be done.
porting while doing a full rebuild is about 400.00
porting with out would be about 2000+. and you would still not have a fresh engine. |
