Was wondering what the polish exhaust shops use on getting all the grime and dirt caked onto pipes? Thanks

in all seriousness, sandpaper if its not chrome, for my muffler, i have "never dull". its cotton with some chemical on it and it shines up aluminum, chrome etc.

I've used that stuff.. actually worked pretty good.

i tried an sos pad originally and it didnt do anything!
i use this shit on the bbq to polish it up all the time, it removes heat stains on my header too.
comes in a can, 5$ or something...

STiPWR used some shit on his exhaust when i was round there.. Worked pretty bloody good without scrubbing like a mad man..

Can't remember the bloody name though. Try PM him maybe.

EDIT: It just hit me.. Silvo.. I dunno if thats common shit but I'd never heard of it.

Do you have to polish like a mad man? Any of the shit I've used I had to scrub for 40min.

Walter makes a stainless steel cleaner. I use it on my exhaust and it also makes my kitchen sink look amazing. Air Liquide on 99st sell it.
