Various pathfinder issues - Click HERE for Original Thread

devin_mm
I thought I was done with my old 1989 Pathfinder but I was wrong.

I realized that I need a vehicle up in Fort Mac and I'm not bringing my Audi up so instead of buying another car I've decided to fix this one up (if economically feasible). So I need to find out what is causing the issues and what I need to do to solve them. Any help to the below issues would be greatly appreaciated, one thing to know is it's an auto:

When starting the vehicle it revs (at idle) to somewhere in the 2.5-3k range falls a bit then goes back to where it was.

The temp guage doesn't work

The fuel level guage doesn't work

The transmission feels like it miss-shifts (I don't know how to explain it)

In the winter it doesn't heat up no matter how long you let it idle, you have to drive it for 30min or so before it starts to heat up. When the heat is going and you sit at a light it starts to cool down. Now I think this is a heater core issue but if someone actually knows that would be great.

Things I know it needs:

4 new tires
A new radiator

If I think of anymore issues I will post them.
