Well we dont have a photoshop'd pics thread, and since ive been trying to learn all day,(this is my first day of learning to use CS2) i figured we could get some before and after pics of what some guys can do. i really want to learn how to use this well because im trying to take some awesome photos and make them look even better.

so this is my very first chop,
i made the rims bigger, dropped it, tint, shaved handles, and smoothed out the pic.
this took me like 2 hrs!!!

how did i do?

I notice at the bottom of you picture to the right of the front tire there is a shadow issue, no big deal since you're a Noob :D....

There is a handy little feature you can use to cut out areas of the car if you want a precise detailed cut out. Use the PEN TOOL (Bezier Curves). Once you gt use to Bezier Curves it gets really easy. After you have traced around the image, make sure you make a copy of the original image, then go to your PATHS menu and "Control-click" or "Apple-click" (for Mac users) the path. It will select it, then you can "Control-I" or "Apple-I" (for Mac users) to inverse the selection, then press DELETE to erase the unwanted selection.

Get use to the Key Command short cuts, they are a godsend and make your life/work go by a lot faster and more efficient. If you have any other questions, I know there and TONS of tutorials online. Google can help you out alot.

Not bad for your first chop at all, the super glaring error is the fucked up shadow underneath the car, just back from the front tires...

eclipse.soul
Yeah for this being your first chop, thats definetly not bad.

yah i was going through tons of tutorials, they really make it easier to learn, although i learned 5 ways to do 1 thing. i only know a few shortcut keys but, i totally agree, they do save tons of time.

i saw that shadow issue, it was late, i didnt really know how to fix it well so i left it. haha.

let see someone elses creations.
