Well, trevors civic kept overheating... I'll let him chime in and tell you the story.
Shawn blew a tire on the way back from Whistler.
I had to peel off my tint in some hick town, because of some bored RCMP officer.
Thats about all for bad stuff, the rest of the cruise went pretty well. |

What where the options on the tint?
Usually they say remove it or ticket.. I always choose ticket cause it's cheaper than re-tinting. |

That sucks man. I've never had one force me to remove it AND offer a ticket.
That "what do you do for a living" shit is a bit much. Should have asked how sex was with his wife.. Yea none of your fucking business.
One thing to give praise for a guys car. But to question what he does to afford it is tacky. |

I was given an option:
1) remove your tint and drive away...
2) Dont remove your tint...ill give you a ticket and impound your car until its road legal (ie no tint)
I called bullshit on the impound... and called my lawyer, talked to him for about and hour and argued with the cop...at the end of the day, i peeled my tint off as i wasnt going to win.
Its not road legal with tint, and therefore they can impound any vehicle that does not meet road legalities.

If you fail to adhere to the Vehicle Equipment Regulations... Then your car is not legally road worthy... Tint on the front windows is in violation of said regulations... Therefore the police COULD impound your car. |

holy fucking shit. That looks like one scary place to stand. I remember we took like an hour hike one day to try to get to the bottom, but gave up. We were even gonna try to get a boat and go against the flow to get to the bottom, but that didn't pan out for about 2000 reasons:lol:
There is another waterfall on the other side of whistler called nairn falls. Its smaller, but really rugged and violent falls. I miss living up there. |

I believe Blocker answered this question and said they cannot impound your vehicle for tint. I have also heard the same from Family members in the RCMP |

well while i was on the phone with the lawyer he was reading through the traffic safety and regulations act and it stated exactly what rob said..."if a vehicle does not meet regulation, it can be impounded, and tint on drivers window doesnt meet regulation" |
