Hey guys, i got a question for you all. I know about the "15 year rule" about importing cars, but i was wondering if anyone knows if this applies to all imports. For example, I'm thinking of importing a JDM 180sx, which is almost identical to our USDM 240sx. Can I import the car and register it hassle free, or will i have trouble doing this? Thanks in advance for you help

Still gotta be 15 years old...
It's not the "same" car b/c of badging... 180sx does not = 240sx :( So I think you'd have a hard time bringing it here....
Try contacting jns-imports.com in Calgary alberta.... they'll import a silvia for you. |

| Thanks for the link redbaron. Unfortunatly, i want a 1991+ 180sx with i guess i cant get until about 2005-2006. Why couldn't the rule be 10 years instead... :( |

why couldn't the rules be... "I have too much money so let me bring whatever the hell I want here when I want...." B/C I would deff. find a way then to get the cash for a TVR Tuscan R :D
Oh well, maybe you could message jns and have them find an 88 w/ a swapped sr20 in it...? |
