"Black was SOOOO last year" (ditsy girls voice)

+1 gunmetal
if your car was white or red i would say gold, but on silver not so much.
and i also agree that black with silver lip is being done to death.

Okay. Wait a minute.
Number one, Sportmaxx are cheap-o Chinese rip-off knock-off bullshit. Those fucking "rivets" or "bolts" are fucking super-glued plastic!
Number two, they seem to use really cheap materials in the casting process. Other wheels from them that are knockoffs have been known to disintegrate while in use.
Number three, honestly, you should be able to buy four sets of those wheels. You can find them, new, around 120 bucks a piece. Times 16, I guess that's about 1920. Now, if for some reason you do want to buy these wheels (don't expect them to survive and Edmonton pot hole) you should be able to get a deal and have them shipped to your door, after taxes and duty, for less than 2 grand.
Exhibit A)

| gunmetal IMO, those pictures above look like the bro mashed a curb, i can imagine some corrosion but not to that extent. |
|
|
| gtaylor |
i like the silver or gold. cant reallly go wrong with either.
check out AXIS WHEELS tho, they have some really clean wheels. they are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
what bolt pattern is your car? |

Its because of they use a cheap clearcoat, once it chips the aluminum underneath oxidizes real bad. All domestic vehicles are horrible for that, especially when hammer on weights are used. |

| ya man i change my mind go silver with polshied lip. lookd hot. tinti your window too. 5% all around. |
|
|
| little_one_der |
I agree with Axis.
They are still knockoffs, but from what I've read they are a way higher quality that Sportmaxx.
I have an appreciation for the Axis Racer-X black spoke with the rose gold lip. Fucking baller right there.

15s dont look good on e30s. and 15 inch rims would kill the oilpan on a lowered e30.
16s minimum i have 17s on mine and they fit the wheel well nice. |
|
|
| euro_ftw |
| its 4 bolts. and i dunno i just like how the lip is on sportmax's . i will go with black and polished lip. |
|
|
| arabian_ryda |
| and make sure u get 0 offset. i had 5mm offset and they still didnt stick out like i wanted them too. |
|
|
| little_one_der |
Okay. Go get some sportmaxx's. But don't you dare fucking come back here and bitch about how shitty the quality turns out to be. And I hope to god you carry a jack AND spare tire/wheel around with you all the time.
And don't say I didn't warn you! |

For a high schooler trying to get some panties wet, the Sportmaxes will do just fine at a bargain basement price.
Are they a decent, cheap wheel for regular street driving? I would say yes, just like Rotas. Would I take them to a track and bounce them off FIA curbs? No. |
