Hey All Spec V owners:
Have any of you guys have an aftermarket muffler on your car? Does it have a rattle sound when you reverse? I heard that there a few ppl that have the same problem when they install an aftermarket muffler. Is that true for most owners?

A rattle?..I don't think so..I have a magnaflow muffler and no rattle when reversing...I too have heard that and the only muffler that rattles was the stillen due to welding problem inside..possibly a manufacured defect of some sort..what aftermarket muffler do you have on your car?

I too have a Magnaflow muffler and no problems at all when in reverse. I also heard about the Stillen customer who got screwed because of a default in the welding in the inside of the muffler.

I've got a magnaflow and it rattles, but it's only cause a heat sheild under the car is touching the exhaust. I'm too lazy to climb under and bend it away... maybe this weekend. Might be your problem too SER chick.
