Edmonton — July 31, 2003 — V8less.com announces the transition of V8less discussion forums to a new entity.

“In just over a year and a half, V8less Discussion forums has had over 1500 members sign up to discuss everything from import car culture to everyday life in Edmonton" said Mark Seto, one of V8less's founders._ "Our goal now is to concentrate on V8less as the premier show production and marketing organization in Western Canada."_ Seto points out that the new entity will provide much more enthusiast support and will not be perceived as biased towards V8less events._ "We have always tried not to influence opinions on V8less, however it is getting increasingly difficult to separate forum member opinions from V8less.com opinions"

The new forum site will:

- maintain all club forums, user accounts and existing message posts
- continue to be the premier tuner specific forum in the Edmonton and Alberta region
- feature a major software upgrade in the following months including features such as Member Rides with voting and a chatroom
- be completely rebranded with new intro screens

Seto commented that the new site will be a completely separate entity from V8less.com but will be sponsored by V8less and other organizations._ The new directors for the site plan to support the cost of running the site through banner advertisements and donations._ Seto also commented that the new director's greatest challenge will be the time and effort it takes to maintain the site._ He states "The great news is that the forum will basically be identical with no change to moderators, except that now you can bash V8less without fear that you will somehow be punished."_ Seto adds that since the beginning of V8less Forums, not a single member has been banned._

The forums will be transitioned in the following weeks with the announcement of the new name._ The new board of directors have decided to remain anonymous but have been long time members of V8less and the local import community.

V8less 2004 show schedule includes:
- an indoor show at the Olympic Oval in Calgary
- an indoor show at the Northlands Sportex in Edmonton
- three race events at Budweiser Motorsports Park near Edmonton
