time for you to update your "my ride" info.

hope all works out for ya joey.

If I were tim.............

I wouldnt call the cop. He is likely bullshitting into getting you to turn yourself in for a ticket.

Cops think they are smart like that. If he got tims plate# he has his name, and phone number.

Driven
What went down?

Solle
well he said:

a) "tim" calls him, and gets a stunting ticket for 402
b) tim doesn't call him, and gets his car impounded for street racing, speeding, possibly running from the cop, and whatever else they might throw at him.

But I guess they got his plate, considering i didn't know his name but the cop did. So meh, i'de just call and pay the fine to be safe.

That's totally a reasonable suggestion.. I would follow that route...

midnite
ya, an RO ticket would be a lot better in the long run..

Timmie_G
the cop was a nice guy actually. i did meet with him and i got the same as joey. which is pretty good in my opinion. i cant say my car was home as the officer called my home before he called my cell and my mother said i was out with you guys lol. i look at it as it could have been ALOT worse.

The Stig
I'm glad I always chose to stay back in the pact when we're driving together, because some times we'll get guys who speed and drive dangerously with us, and if a police man comes into the mix I'm usually far enough back to spot it, and be sure I'm not mistaken to be one of the speeders myself.

I'm glad I'm faster then Darren Smith.

Good job Tim, and I appalogize for going the wrong way down a one way. I was just following the person infront of me, and actually didn't know it was a one way.

lol actually this wasn't even the worst part of my night.
I was looking at someones subs in their trunk, and moved forward to take a closer look, and smacked my head against the trunk, then pulled my head back in agony, and the trunk fell closed on my wrist. He pulled the trunk off my wrist, and i couldn't figure out what hurt more, my wrist or my head. Lol, it was some funny shit for anyone who witnessed it.
Lol, so thanks for the two smokes you gave me, to ease the pain caused from your devil car! haha, good times. My wrist looks f'd though! and is killing me, and I have a big bump on my head.

Timmie_G
lol no worries about the wrong way part i mean nothing was on purpose and no harm came of it anyway im glad to know you came out pretty pain free too(almost) haha i think ill be taking it easy for a little while on the cruises.

Weirdest shit on the way home last night. I drove Cam back to west ed to get his car that had tried to kill Joey earlier in the evening. We turn from 170st onto 89ave or whatever the road is on the north end of the mall and there is a Mazda Protege up on the median with a couple people climbing out and running away from the car towards the Boston Pizza. It looked as though they turned into oncoming lanes and then attempted to jump the median.

I continue on, drop off Cam and check the car again on my way home. The engine was obviously fucked as the road was covered in fluids, the driver's side suspension was torn completely out of its mounts and the two people were nowhere in sight. No idea if it was a drunk person or a stolen car or just a terrible driver, not one or any combination of them would surprise me.

Oh but it didn't stop there. I was driving east on Yellowhead at about 142 st and I hear this crazy sound like someone's muffler is dragging, but louder. My windows were up in the car and this was so loud I heard it from about a block away while driving at 70km/h. So I realize that it's this van going the other direction on the Yellowhead, shake my head and just keep on driving.

While I'm sitting at the stupid double red waiting to turn left onto 127th st. I hear the noise again, getting closer. Just as the green signal starts flashing this huge Ford transit van comes flying around the right lane of the Yellowhead and cuts across four or five lanes of traffic to go left up 127th, the same way I'm going. I figure out right away that the guy is driving on the rim, throwing sparks and chewing up the road. I figured that maybe the guy was just looking for a place to fix it or something and just shake my head.

But then he floors it and starts sliding all over the place so I say fuck it, pull out my phone to call the cops and start following the guy. He comes under the railroad tracks, runs the red at 127ave and pulls into the 7-11. I wait for the light to turn green, pull in on the other side of the store because I don't want this idiot smashing my car, and walk around the store to approach the guy. I see the driver is probably in his 40s, east Indian and is freaking about something. He sees me walking towards him and floors it in reverse, tears out of the parking lot throwing sparks and jumping the curb. I said fuck it right then and called the cops from inside the 7-11. Gave them the plate (from B.C.), description of the van, etc. Cop says thanks, we'll send some cars over that way.

I pull out of the 7-11 and realize that I could easily follow this guy as the rim was leaving a mark on the road all the way down. So I follow it about 20 blocks up 127st to where it finally starts to fade, I can only assume because the guy wore the actual lip of the rim completely off and was just down to the internal hoop.

If anyone's bored I'm sure you could find the trail and follow this crazy fuck's path. Maybe it would be easier to keep following it in the daylight? Hopefully he was caught and nobody was hurt.

9:30 - Calgary Trail Northbound there was a fox body that was mashed up (closed off 3 of the 4 lanes on the overpass over the Whitemud)

12:00 - 178st beside Silver city there was an 08 maroon Lancer that was mangled to shit as well (I figured it was one of the people from the meet).

P.S. To the Lancer crew, your 140hp vehicles are not fast

Good stories.
Seems like saturday nights in the city are getting worse and worse every week. Last week I called the cops on some crazy idiot screaming, crying, talking to immaginary people, and kicking cars at 5am on my block.
After the meets on friday and saturday, me and Lady always cruise around the White Ave/Jasper area lookin for weird stuff like this going down.

p.s. my head still freekin hurts, so does my wrist, good thing my cuff stopped most of the trunk from lopping my hand off.

midnite
Friday night meets are usually bigger, but the Saturday night ones are usually a bit more exciting.. I can't explain why.

I guess its stories like these that I wait for everyone to leave before I go home. Don't get me wrong, I like to drive my car fast just like everyone else but the maturity level seams to be dropping when it comes to the cruises.
