Ok, i dont care if anyone responds or decides to flame me.
So, Cocaine..... I see and hear of people doing it all the time and how "high" they get. I was never one for a drug that can pretty much destroy your life. So i stuck with pot and the odd shroomie.
So the other day, a friend of mine hands me a gram of coke in a baggy and says "can you get rid of this for me? i cant flush it and i dont want it cuz i'll do it" so whatever, being a friend i took it. It sat in my drawer for about a week, until about an hour ago.
So this thought has been on my brain since i got. "i wonder what the high is actually like"
(Now i should mention, i have done it a few times before, but i was so drunk it didnt matter what i did.)
So i pulled out the bag, cut it up a lot finer than what it was, made some nice lines and went to town on them.
WTF IS THIS SHIT! WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE GET HOOKED ON THIS WORTHLESS DRUG!!?!!?!?!
I've felt more from a good joint than this shit. oooh hyper and floaty.. Gay. My nose is numb and i'm grinding my teeth. Gay.
I dont feel happier, i dont feel more euphoric. I feel light headed and a bit more hyper.
Maybe if i was out and about? doubt it. gimmie a fuckin joint. 5 bucks for a joint to get high for an hour is better than 80 - 100 bucks for a gram to feel "floaty"!'

As stated before, some people just have addictive personalities. Others like it to stay awake all night. And others simply like the high that they get. Also as previously stated, it doesn't sound like the stuff was very pure.
Other than that, there's no real answer as to WHY people get hooked on the stuff. We're all obviously genetically different which causes different responses to the narcotic.
Anyways, just my uneducated bit of thinking.
I've been around the stuff a lot and that's really the only reasons I can give.:dunno: |

I live with two coke "users."
They talk a lot when they do it, and are annoying as hell and don't sleep. The hookers part is hilarious, because they're over far too often.
Hookers, coke, alcohol, and never any money, and a filthy house.
It's the culture that follows that is the worst part. If you want to do coke, and continue to, you're just digging yourself a hole.
Go get a high from climbing a building downtown while sober... it's much better IMO than coke. |
