Just wondering who else was there last night at Shaw Conference Center.
5 bands, 6 hours worth of music.
Megadeth rocked the house of course! |

| I had a couple of friends go , they showed up 1/2 way through the CoB set and said they finnished pretty good. Inflames for being a band they had lost interest in a couple years ago put on an awsome show as well, and enjoyed it alot more than they had suspected prior. They were however slightly dissapointed with the Megadeath set, for all the shit that happened from the crowd, and the shitty sound quality due to the soundboard incident. The actual performances were awsome they said though, and they seemed to come back harder after they left each time. In the end they felt embarrased to be edmontonians (though not suprised) and would not blame megadeath if they left edmonton off the list for their next tour. |

3. 2/3's into their set, 3-4 people somehow managed to get on stage and swarmed Dave Mustaine. Until security could respond and drag those people away. This caused the band to promptly leave the stage. Another delay of ~20min ensued until they reluctantly came back out after much coaxing. Again warning that the show would be over if that happened again.
4. A few songs later Dave was pointing to someone in the front row and looking over at security until someone was hauled away. (not sure what happened that time)
In the end we were lucky to have been able to enjoy a full show.
But goddamn, it was almost ruined. And why? We'll be lucky if Megadeth ever comes back to our city. I felt embarrassed for Edmonton last night. :geezuz:
Anyway, thank you Dave for looking past that bullshit and giving the rest of us a hell of a show!! :bowdown:
