Shipping a car overseas? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Like the topic states, how do I ship a car overseas????

I'm just curious as to who in Canada can transport a car from either Edmonton or Calgary (safely) to the east coast, put on a container ship and deliver it to it's final destination in London, England....???

Does anybody know of a company that's based locally (etown or ctown?) that can do this?

Is this your Z31 you're sending overseas to some buyer? Can't believe you're going to all that trouble. The shipping is probably going to cost the guy as much as the car.

key words... "cost the guy"

IT's not costing me...

I was just curious in case I decide to import a car here in the future.... :) Apparently my buyer has taken care of shipping, payment, and delivery/pickup... we'll see when the moneys on the table though and not in the mail ;)

When I shipped my Jeep 5.9 to Japan I got alot of quotes. Most wanted between 5-8 thousand dollars with insurance one way. I found a Company by the name of Nippon Express In Van that did it for 1700. I'm not sure if they ship to Europe but It's worth a try..

That's cheap.

Most companies wouldn't even ship a car across our continent for that.
